Princes Harry and William stood just metres apart at a memorial service for their uncle Lord Robert Fellowes - but didn't speak, it has emerged.
The Duke of Sussex had made the hours-long trip from his California home to join his brother at the service on Wednesday, but despite the chance for a royal reunion, the pair didn't exchange words.
It's understood that the duo had, at one point, been standing "virtually back-to-back" before going their separate ways.
One mourner at the service said the King's sons were "only five yards from each other", The Sun revealed.

PAWhile a local in Snettisham in Norfolk, told the paper: "We never saw them speak to each other, and they kept their distance."
Meanwhile, a close family friend said they were "very happy to confirm both princes were there."
Kensington Palace has remained tight-lipped on what goes on in William's private time, but GB News understands that throughout the service, the warring brothers sat apart.
The two, despite arriving within mere minutes of each other, sat on opposite sides of the church throughout Baron Fellowes's funeral.

The pair "kept their distance", according to attendees
PAAnother attendee at the service speculated to The Sun that the seating arrangements had been pre-planned to keep William and Harry separate.
They said: "They were sat two or three rows back from the front - not at the back, but they were on opposite sides of the aisle.
"And then there were family members on the rest of the seats between them, so maybe that is something that was arranged.
The source claimed that the brothers arrived at the church "right before" the service started, flying under the radar of most of the attendees.

PAThey also detailed what happened at the 82-year-old's wake, saying: "We wanted to speak to them, but they had a lot of family who hadn't seen them in a long time... especially Harry.
"A lot of people were taking the chance to speak to them... They were only about five yards from each other, it was virtually back-to-back.
"When we left the reception, they were both still there, but as we were on a walk we saw Harry driven off in a black Range Rover."
Reverend Dan Tansey, who conducted proceedings, described the service as "lovely" and the reception afterwards as "very relaxed and cordial".
