Unheard tapes of Princess Diana saying that Charles told her stepmother that he was "so disappointed" when Prince Harry was born as they had "wanted a girl" have been revealed for the first time.
The audio was recorded by the late Princess Diana in the 1990s for her biographer Andrew Morton.
Snippets of the clips have been released ahead of an upcoming documentary on Diana.
Diana says in the recording that Charles told Raine Spencer at Harry's christening in 1984: "We're so disappointed, we wanted a girl".
Princess Diana recorded seven hours of audio while she was married to Charles and not all of the it was heard in the 2017 documentary.

She adds that Countess Spencer then "snapped his head off" and told the royal he should "realise you are lucky to have a child".
The upcoming documentary is a follow-up to the 2017 production Diana: In Her Own Words.
Tom Jennings, the producer of both documentaries said: "When the first film came out, people were blown away because they had not heard Diana talk like this before."
Jennings told ABC: "It's a style of storytelling that is very difficult to do but I think it is the closest thing to the truth that you can get because nothing gets in your way.
"It is important as part of Diana's legacy to allow more of those tapes to be heard."
The new production is expected to be released in early 2024.
