The Duke of Sussex released a heartfelt clip
Prince Harry has been criticised over the timing of his new video as it clashed with a big day for Prince William.
The Duke of Sussex released a heartfelt clip to promote the Invictus Games today as his brother returned to royal duties.
Harry opened up about "healing and saving lives" ahead of the 2025 Invictus Games, which will be held in Vancouver, Canada.
It was posted to social media platform X on September 5, just as Prince William, 42, returned to his royal duties.
The Prince of Wales's first royal engagement took place at the Saatchi Gallery following a short summer break with the rest of the Royal Family at Balmoral.
Some royal watchers questioned the timing of Prince Harry’s video in light of his brother’s well-publicised engagement.
One fan wrote: "Posted within a couple of hours of Prince William’s first royal engagement this fall. So not cool Invictus.
"Don’t play the cosplay royal games. Do better."

"There is no wonder it goes from strength to strength. His commitment to fellow veterans is sincere & heartwarming."

In the video, Harry said: "Sport has the ability to heal, to change lives and to save lives.
"For so many of these competitors, getting to the start line has been one of the hardest moments of their life.
"But at the Games, their lives are changed. Watching these magical moments happen, and sport being the facilitator of that, is very, very special for all of us to witness."
