Prince Harry’s close mate who has been dubbed the ‘David Beckham of polo’ could star in the royal’s new Netflix series.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning two non-fiction projects as part of their £80million deal with the streaming giant.
One of the series that Harry and Meghan are planning to release will follow the world of professional polo.
Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Figueras, an Argentine polo player and Ralph Lauren model, could star in the production as he shares a close relationship with the prince.

Prince Harry revealed that the series will focus on the sport shot primarily at the US Open Championship in Wellington, Florida.
The series will attempt to show what it takes to compete in polo at the highest level.
Figueras, 47, known as “the David Beckham of Polo” is close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and appeared in the couple’s first Netflix documentary.
Harry and Figueras have played in many polo matches together; the prince joined the Los Padres polo team in Santa Barbara in 2022.

Last year, the duke and Nacho played in the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup to raise money for people living with HIV and AIDS.
Harry is a Co-Founding Patron of Sentebale while Nacho supports the charity as an ambassador.
The prince is taking part in a fundraising polo match for the charity later on today in Florida.
Nacho’s wife, Delfina Blaquier is also friends with the duke and duchess and even called Meghan a “sister” and “fellow polo-wife” in an Instagram post in 2022.

In August 2023, Nacho posted a comical picture of himself standing cross-armed with Harry wearing sunglasses as the pair ‘shopped for their wives.’
As described by Tatler as “the David Beckham of Polo,” Nacho holds a six-goal handicap and is estimated at a net worth of $30million.
The polo player has also been modelling for Ralph Lauren since 2000 and by 2005 he was the face of Ralph Lauren Black Label.
The other project Harry and Meghan are planning will see the Duchess of Sussex celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship.
