The Duke of Sussex has said that he would be willing to help out the Royal Family if they needed him

A royal commentator believes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's money moves are "destroying trust" from the Royal Family.

It comes after the Duke of Sussex reportedly said that he would be willing to help out the Royal Family if they needed him as his father takes a step back during his cancer treatment.

Prince Harry quit his position as a senior royal in January 2020 and after a short stint in Canada, moved to the US with his wife Meghan and their children.

The pair have since criticised the royal lifestyle heavily in various interviews, podcasts, books and a six-part Netflix documentary.

Royal expert Pandora Forsyth feels that these "money making moves" has "damaged the trust" between the Sussexes and the royals.

Speaking to GBN America she explained: "They have been advised by their varying PR firms.

"Who I'm sure are saying that they are making fabulous moves. They keep on switching what they're doing from the Spotify deals to small startup deals.

"They definitely got their moneys worth from Spotify, millions of pounds later for how much work?

"In terms of business strategy, I don't see how they can keep on going with all of these books and Spotify deals, because they've revealed so much already.

"As well as that they need to keep the families trust, because if Harry does want to come back into the realm the family needs to trust him.

"This is the issue, those private conversations need to happen to have a full reconciliation.

"Knowing it's going to be kept private? Well, that's going to be the barrier, isn't it?

She added: "We both know as journalists, when you speak to people you need to find the gems in that interview and that's not just to plug or promote what they're promoting.

"You're going to ask questions surrounding that, of course that's going to be about the Royal Family.

"He has been in room with The King people are going to want to know what's going on there.

"Unfortunately, that's just a conversation that he will have to reveal or he's going to have to keep private.

"From that, then we'll be able to tell really what his true intentions are."
