Claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's marriage is in turmoil have been torn apart by an insider close to the couple.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been married for over five years and have two children together.


Some reports have claimed that the couple's marriage is going through a challenging period and that they have chosen to "take time apart".

However, an insider close to the Sussexes has dismissed any suggestion of this.

They told Page Six: "It’s not true, it’s literally made up."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020.

Since then, the couple have signed lucrative contracts with major firms including with Netflix and Spotify.

However, Spotify recently cancelled their contract, worth millions, with Meghan and Harry after being underwhelmed by the Duchess of Sussex's Archetypes podcast.

Meghan and Harry are "facing living hell" due to the stress of the financial pressure they are facing, according to a source.

The Sussexes are said to be under pressure to fund their lavish lifestyle.

A source told PageSix the couple is "under tremendous financial pressure to fund their lavish California lifestyle, including their $14million (£10.7million) mansion and huge security costs."

They added: "That stress, coupled with their emotional issues, has likely made life a living hell."

Harry and Meghan were given use of the five-bedroom Frogmore Cottage by the Queen as a wedding present in 2018.

Last month, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a pivotal move to cut ties with the UK by finally clearing out Frogmore Cottage and handing back the keys.

The royal residence was the Sussexes base in England but King Charles requested that the couple vacate the property as soon as possible.

They were given use of the five-bedroom Frogmore Cottage by the Queen as a wedding present in 2018.

However, Meghan and Harry have barely lived in the royal residence over the last three years.
