The Duke of Sussex will be in the United Kingdom to attend the High Court over phone hacking allegations made against Mirror Group Newspapers

Prince Harry will miss out on an opportunity to reconcile relations with his father King Charles III as the monarch plans to jet off to Transylvania while the Duke of Sussex returns to the UK.

Prince Harry, 38, is returning to London to attend the High Court next week as he takes on Mirror Group Newspapers over allegations of phone hacking.

King Charles, 74, will embark on a solo trip to Romania while his son jets back to Britain from California.

The pair are unlikely to see one another during the period in which Harry is in London.

Prince Harry, who left the UK for California in 2020, returned earlier this month for his father’s Coronation.

However, the father-of-two rushed home to the Golden State immediately after the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

The Duke of Sussex was reportedly wearing his medals and morning suit at Heathrow Airport.

Prince Harry is thought to have spent the night at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

He did not see his brother Prince William and did not speak to either his father or stepmother Queen Camilla.

Prince Harry also returned to the UK in late March for a separate phone hacking lawsuit against the Daily Mail.

King Charles’s five day visit to his rural Transylvania home will give him time to recuperate after the recent Coronation celebrations.

Camilla will not join her husband on the trip and will instead remain at her Wiltshire home.

Charles, who owns at least 10 properties in Romania, spends his trips to Transylvania hiking, painting and reading.

There is no wifi, TV or radio at the King’s property, The Telegraph has claimed.

Prince Harry is meanwhile expected to give evidence in person at next week’s High Court trial.

The case will bring him head-to-head with former Mirror editor and vocal Sussexes critic Piers Morgan.
