The Duke of Sussex returned to the UK last week for one day before returning to the US for an awards ceremony

A source has said that Prince Harry flew back to the US looking “cheerful” after visiting his father, the King last week.

The Duke of Sussex returned to the UK for one day for a meeting with his father following Charles’s cancer diagnosis.


According to a source, Prince Harry boarded the plane back to the US in “good spirits."

The Duke of Sussex caught a flight from Los Angeles to London on Tuesday to meet with his father for under an hour at Clarence House.

Meghan decided to stay at home in the US with their two young children Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two.

PEOPLE reported that “the Duke of Sussex was cheerful and all smiles during his flight back to the US, engaging in lively conversations with staff and fellow passengers”.

Harry travelled back to the US to present the NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year award in Las Vegas.

At the event, the prince remained in high spirits making jokes about the difference between rugby and American football.

It was rumoured that Harry and Meghan would attend the Super Bowl in Las Vegas last night, but the couple were not in attendance.

The news comes as Harry and Meghan undergo a major rebrand and have launched a new website.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex named their new platform Sussex.com in connection with their royal title.

The couple launched their website as a “one-stop-shop” for all of their activities.

The site links to their Archewell Foundation and Archewell Productions as well as their old website that Harry and Meghan launched when they left the Royal Family in 2020.

Another source told PEOPLE “Hopefully [Harry] will bring the grandchildren at some point too, as that would be lovely for all of them.”

It has been revealed that Harry has plans to bring Archie and Lilibet to the UK.

A source told OK!: “Harry wants to spend more time in the UK and bring the children over to be with [Charles] and their cousins, but he will have to prove himself first.”
