The Duke of York stepped back from public-facing duties in 2019

Prince Andrew has been accused of erupting into a foul-mouthed rant over speed bumps outside his home.

The Duke of York voiced his frustration at builders putting in the traffic-slowing humps across the Windsor Great Park estate.

The royal came across the builders while riding his horse and reportedly said: "What the f**k are you doing now?"

One speed bump has been built on Prince Andrew's driving route out of the Royal Lodge.

A source told The Sun regarding the incident: "The worker was just going about his job when Andrew, on one of his regular rides round the estate, came along and looked down from up high and said, ‘What the f**k are you doing now?’

"Andrew likes to drive his car out of Royal Lodge quite fast and is obviously a bit peeved as one of the speed humps is right by the gate out of the park."

It comes as Prince Andrew has suffered a fresh blow as a new survey has revealed overwhelming public support for removing the Duke of York's remaining royal titles, with more than two-thirds of Britons in favour of the move.

The YouGov poll found that 67 per cent of respondents want Prince Andrew's titles removed, while just 13 per cent oppose the move. The rest of the participants were unsure.

The Duke's public standing remains at rock bottom, according to YouGov's royal favourability tracker.

Merely 5 per cent of those surveyed hold a positive opinion of the King's brother.

This represents virtually no improvement since his disastrous appearance on BBC Newsnight in November 2019.

Opposition to stripping the Duke's titles is notably stronger amongst certain demographic groups. Those against such a move are more likely to be Conservative voters and those aged over 50.

Following his controversial television interview in 2019, the Duke withdrew from royal duties.

The late Queen Elizabeth II removed his military appointments and severed his connections with charitable organisations.

Several pathways exist for removing Prince Andrew's various honours and titles. Parliamentary action is one avenue.

In 2022, York Central MP Rachael Maskell introduced a Private Members' Bill seeking to grant monarchs the authority to revoke titles.

Sources suggest Parliament would be the preferred route for any future action, ensuring the monarchy operates within modern governmental frameworks.
