The Duke of York stepped down as a working member of the Royal Family following his disastrous TV interview with BBC's Newsnight

Prince Andrew is considering doing a new TV interview as the disgruntled Duke feels he has "little else to lose" after "paying a high price" following the backlash to his first interview.

The Duke of York has been stripped of many royal and military titles and is also facing the prospect of being evicted from his Royal Lodge mansion.

Sources say Andrew has warmed to the idea of “telling his side” of events over the last few years following his most recent TV interview in November 2019.

A source close to Andrew told The Mirror: "Nothing is off the table.

"Andrew has been made to give up his job and now potentially his home.

"He feels there is little else to lose when he has already paid an awfully high price."

Andrew favours doing the potential interview with a US broadcaster following the reception to Prince Harry’s recent promotional tour in America for his book Spare, according to a source.

It comes as Prince Andrew's ex-wife Sarah Ferguson said that his "demise" has been "really difficult to see".

The Duchess of York admitted she and her daughters have found Andrew's downfall tough to watch.

Despite being divorced from Prince Andrew, Fergie is known to remain close to the Duke and still lives with him in the Royal Lodge.

Sarah Ferguson said: "We've been there for each other — you know, when I've gone through really bad times in the past, Andrew's always been there."

She continued during an interview with People: "He is exceptionally kind, and he is a very, seriously good grandfather.

"He's very steadfast for the girls."

She added regarding her daughters: "We are women that also have had to see the demise of a very strong man, and that has been really difficult to see."
