Meghan Markle has shared a sweet image of her rescue Beagle, Mia, via her lifestyle brand As Ever’s Instagram account.
The post came just hours after Queen Camilla shared an image of herself alongside her own new rescue dog, Moley.
Meghan’s post featured the Duchess sitting, enjoying a mint tea and petting Mia, who could be seen standing on her hind legs and enjoying the attention.
“Summer afternoons, mint tea and the sweetest company,” the image was captioned, along with a dog and teapot emoji.

“(Hi, Mia!)” the post signed off sweetly.
Nine-year-old Mia was rescued by the Sussexes in 2022 from an animal testing centre and was first seen publicly in the family's Christmas card last December.
The cute pooch previously featured in a previous As Ever post from May, which showed her sniffing some fresh vegetables.

Moley, a Jack Russell Terrier, was adopted by Camilla in May this year.
The image showing Moley being cradled by the Queen was captured earlier in July, in the garden at Raymill, Her Majesty’s private house in Wiltshire, by photographer Chris Jackson.
Camilla could be seen beaming in the snap as her new tan and black puppy looked inquisitively at the camera, ears alert.
The image was captioned with: "It was a fantastic afternoon at @Battersea - we are so grateful for all that you do!"

"Whilst Moley was keeping cool at home, he wishes he could have been reunited with some of his old friends," the Royal Family’s official Instagram added.
The Queen had previously adopted two Jack Russell Terriers from Battersea, where she serves as Patron.
She took in Beth in August 2011, who sadly passed away in 2024, and Bluebell in September 2012.
The Queen’s post marked her visit to the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, where she serves as Patron, in London on Monday.

The seemingly coincidental social media posts come as details of apparent peace talks between his Prince Harry and King Charles's communications teams in an attempt to resolve their long-standing family dispute.
A source revealed: "The meeting was with Harry's blessing." The talks represented a significant development after 18 months of estrangement between father and son.
Buckingham Palace backed the initiative to "open a channel of communication", with approval coming within the past fortnight.
