The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be carrying out engagements in Nigeria from Friday to Sunday

Meghan Markle beamed alongside Prince Harry as the couple undertook the first engagements of their three-day tour of Nigeria.

The Duchess of Sussex waved to the crowd that had gathered to greet the royal couple.


Both Harry and Meghan gave speeches this morning highlighting the importance of mental health.

The royal couple boarded an overnight British Airways flight from Heathrow Airport to Nigeria.

He said: "There is no shame to be able to acknowledge that today is a bad day.

"That you woke up this morning feeling sad, that you left school feeling stressed.

"That you have lost a loved one in your family and you don't know who to turn to or who to speak to.

"All of these things, you may have been led to believe, are not for conversation.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in Nigeria in the early hours of Friday morning after flying to Abuja from London.

The royal couple boarded an overnight British Airways flight from Heathrow Airport to Nigeria.

Meghan and Harry were seated in the first-class section of the plane and were kept apart from other passengers by a curtain, according to the Mail.
