A royal expert has suggested that the Duchess of Sussex would likely not participate if Prince Harry establishes a new charity organisation following his departure from Sentebale.
Charlotte Griffiths, editor at large at the Mail on Sunday told GB News: "I think he probably could set up a new charity, but honestly, they don’t know yet because this all only kicked off this week and now it’s Sunday.
"They are genuinely still in the talking stages. I think a new charity would be a great idea, but what I do know is that I don’t think Meghan would be involved.

"I think Harry would want it to be his own thing with Prince Seeiso. So, watch this space. Right now, they’re just throwing around ideas."

The Duke of Sussex is exploring options for continuing his humanitarian work after stepping down as patron of the charity he co-founded nearly two decades ago.
A spokesperson confirmed on Sunday that whilst no decisions have been finalised, all possibilities remain under consideration, including establishing a new charity or supporting existing organisations working in the same sector.
Harry resigned from his position at Sentebale in March, standing alongside trustees who departed in protest against board chairwoman Dr Sophie Chandauka.
The chairwoman had levelled accusations of bullying and harassment against the duke, allegations that sources close to the former trustees dismissed as "completely baseless".
A Charity Commission investigation published last Tuesday found no evidence of systematic bullying or harassment within the organisation, including claims of misogyny or misogynoir.
The regulator criticised all parties for making their disagreements public through media statements and interviews.
LATEST ROYAL DEVELOPMENTS:
Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, who established the charity alongside Harry in 2006 as a tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales, also relinquished his patronage during the March exodus.
Griffiths further explained to The People's Channel: "Harry has very famously broken away from Sentebale. Most of its funding came from him. For example, he gave £1.1 million from his book Spare to Sentebale, and his celebrity polo match, held every other year, raises about £740,000.
"He has huge earning potential and, whether you love him or hate him, he’s incredibly famous by far the biggest money-spinner for Sentebale.
"Not only that, but he’s passionate about raising money for children in Lesotho. He’s very good friends with Prince Seeiso, who is from the area, and he set up the charity in honour of his mother 19 years ago. It’s his life’s work and his biggest passion.

"At the moment, discussions centre on him either starting a new charity though that’s not confirmed or finding other avenues to donate money to the region.
She added: "He believes that under her leadership, the charity carried out a “hostile takeover” that ousted him from his own organisation.
"He’s now figuring out how to hit back, go his own way, and continue the work he’s so passionate about, without Sentebale."
