The passage which has since been deleted said Meghan would "take to the stage to host the intimate and moving glimpse into the extraordinary journeys of the Invictus Games competitors".

There is no mention of the royal's role in a separate listing on the website.

Furthermore, the detailed schedule appears to indicate that presenter Hadnet Tesfai will replace Meghan.

Sources have claimed that the passage on Meghan Markle's appearance at Dusseldorf was uploaded in error, according to the Mail.

The Invictus Games is an international multi-sport event for wounded, injured and sick serving military personnel and veterans.

The Duke of Sussex originally founded in 2014 when he was a working member of the Royal Family.

Last week, Prince Harry's documentary 'Heart of Invictus' was released on Netflix.

The Netflix documentary follows the 2022 edition of the Invictus Games which took place in The Hague in the Netherlands.

While discussing his internal struggle after returning from Afghanistan, the Duke of Sussex said he had no around him that could help him.

In what appeared to be a subtle dig at the Royal Family, Harry sayid that he had no support structure or expert advice to help him cope during his struggle.

The Duke of Sussex told Netflix: "The biggest struggle for me was that no one around me could really help.

"I did not have that support structure, that network or expert advice to identify what was actually going on with me.

"Unfortunately like most of us, the first time you consider therapy is when you are lying on the floor in the fetal position, probably wishing that you had dealt with some of this stuff previously.

"That is what I want to change."
