Meghan Markle has been humiliated after a celebrity forgot meeting her, despite the Duchess of Sussex making a blog post about the occasion.
The former Destiny's Child singer said: "It was my first time meeting her," when asked about her interaction with Meghan.
Rowland also said the Duchess of Sussex was "warm" and "down to earth".

The Tig
However, a photograph shows that the duo actually met nine years ago.
On her old lifestyle blog The Tig, Meghan posted a picture with Rowland and the stylist Joe Zee in 2014.
The trio met at New York Fashion Week, which the duchess shared on her old Instagram account, which has since been deactivated.
The mother-of-two even tagged Rowland, meaning she would have received a notification.

The Motivation singer told Hello Magazine this month: "[Meghan] was royal before she was in that family.
"I think that we are royalty before anything.
"And we have to hold ourselves in that regard as humans, as people."
Meghan and Rowland posed alongside the actress Kerry Washington at Beyonce's concert in Los Angeles.

The duchess also posed with Washington several years ago in 2013 at a party in New York City.
Meghan was asked to reveal her "ultimate talent crush" in a 2016 interview, to which the former Suits actress said, "Kerry Washington, she's amazing".
During a 2018 interview ahead of Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry, Washington commented: "That’s amazing.
"She's so beautiful and so talented, and I’m so very happy for her. I’m thrilled for the opportunities that lay ahead for her...I’m so happy for her because marriage rocks, so welcome to the club, girl!"
