Meghan Markle is expanding her As Ever lifestyle brand to include hospitality services, according to reports.

The Duchess of Sussex 43, is trademarking the brand for hotels and restaurants.

The trademark filing will reportedly cover accommodation services, temporary lodgings and "provision of food and drink".

This expansion could see the Duchess serving her own culinary creations, potentially featuring recipes from her recent Netflix cooking show With Love, Meghan, according to The Sun.

Industry experts suggest the hospitality venture aligns well with the Duchess's business brand.

The move follows Meghan's statement in her Netflix series: "When I have someone stay, one of my favourite things to do is prep the guest room."

A second series of the show has already been filmed and is scheduled for release this autumn, despite mixed reviews following the programme's March debut.

The eight-part series showcased Meghan's tips for hosting guests, along with recipes and party planning advice.

The As Ever website describes the brand as "more than a brand - it's a love language".

The site states: "Created by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, As Ever welcomes you to a collection of products, each inspired by her long-lasting love of cooking, entertaining and hostessing."

The hospitality expansion represents a natural progression for the lifestyle brand, building on the domestic expertise demonstrated in her Netflix programme.

Last year, Prince Harry turned down the chance to stay at a royal residence in favour of staying in a hotel during a trip to London.

The news of the brand expansion comes as Meghan recently took time away from her busy work schedule for a family trip to Disneyland.

The Duchess shared moments from their visit on Instagram, with the outing appearing to celebrate their daughter Lilibet's fourth birthday.

The family enjoyed various attractions at the amusement park, including rides on Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Cars ride.

Both Lilibet and her brother Archie, six, had the opportunity to meet Disney princess Elsa from Frozen.

Meghan was seen holding her children's hands as they approached the character for photographs in what appeared to be a touching moment.
