Meghan Markle’s engagement ring has become the most-searched for in the world.

Prince Harry proposed to Meghan Markle in November 2017, but years later the diamond band continues to captivate attention.

The Duchess of Sussex’s three-stone ring is the most -searched celebrity ring in the world, according to a new study from UK jeweller Ramsden’s Jewellery.

The findings took data over the past 12 months and an aggregated average found that Meghan’s ring drove about 51,283 searches a month.

The second on the list was Princess Diana’s sapphire and diamond ring, which Princess Kate wears today.

The iconic piece of blue jewellery with a white gold band and 14 solitaire diamonds reaches 22,100 average global monthly searches.

Meghan usually wears her engagement ring alongside her Welsh gold wedding ring and an eternity band, which Prince Harry gifted to her for their anniversary in 2019.

However, during the course of 2023 the duchess did not wear her engagement ring for multiple months sparking rumours the jewel was “missing.”

Meghan made headlines in September 2023 when she was pictured not wearing her engagement ring at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The ring was finally seen when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Jamaica for the Bob Marley: One Love film premiere in January 2024.

Meghan’s ring features a three-stone design meant to symbolise the past, present and future.

The central stone is a cushion-cut diamond sourced from Botswana, a country which is significant for Harry and Meghan as they visited when they were dating.

The two smaller diamonds are from the personal collection of Prince Harry’s mother, the late Princess Diana.

The ring was originally made with a yellow band, but in 2019 Meghan opted for a slim diamond-paved band instead.

During their engagement interview with the BBC in November 2017, Prince Harry said he incorporated his mother’s jewels “to make sure that she’s with us on this crazy journey together.”

Meghan praised the design of the ring and Harry’s special touch stating: “It’s beautiful, and he designed it, it’s incredible.”
