He added: "And, you know, just because you’re famous doesn’t make you great at something," according to the Semafor news website.

Meghan also sent a personal letter to Taylor Swift, asking her to appear on the Archetypes podcast as a guest.

But Swift decline the opportunity and did not work with the Duchess on her Spotify project.

Last week, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry suffered another blow as US officials refused to grant them a trademark on their Archetypes podcast.

The US Patent and Trademark Office refused to grant a trademark for the Archetypes podcast, on the grounds of confusion with an existing Arizonian company.

The Sussexes were seeking exclusive rights to the name Archetypes in relation to "downloadable audio recordings and podcasts" for anything concerning the "cultural treatment of women and stereotypes facing women".
