Meghan accompanied her new message with a classic tune

Meghan Markle took to Instagram on Saturday evening with a new message featuring herself taking to the beach in summer attire.

The Duchess of Sussex's latest solo post followed a growing trend of sharing intimate family moments and updates on her latest business ventures on her social media.

"That weekend feeling," Meghan captioned the post, alongside sun and music notes emojis.

The message was set to DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will Smith's 1991 throwback classic, Summertime.

Alongside the caption, she could be seen walking on the beach wearing a cream linen button-down shirt, white shorts, a wide-brimmed hat, tan sandals and gold bracelets.

The post marks the latest in a series of social media updates from Meghan, who has been offering glimpses into her California life with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.

Despite carefully avoiding showing the faces of her children in her posts, Meghan has given fans unprecedented insights - from a throwback video showing her dancing in the delivery room before Lilibet's birth to the children enjoying a trip to Disneyland.

Her most recent post featuring her family was made on June 23, as she shared a behind-the-scenes video promoting her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

"A little behind the scenes of @aseverofficial," she captioned the clip, adding: "Hope you enjoy your treats when they arrive this week!"

It also featured a brief cameo from Princess Lilibet.

The footage showed Meghan writing in her signature calligraphy, carrying plates of food, tending her garden and standing on a bridge with Princess Lilibet, who carried a rainbow Jellycat bag whilst her mother touched her back and head as they looked down into the water.

Earlier this month, Meghan shared a Father's Day tribute to Prince Harry featuring intimate footage of their children.

While both children's faces are always obscured, Princess Lilibet has featured prominently in Meghan's latest posts.

The June 15 video, set to Jason Mraz's "Have It All", showed six-year-old Archie learning to ride a bicycle without stabilisers as Harry, 40, ran alongside him.

Four-year-old Lilibet appeared in the footage, chasing after her father and brother. The video concluded with a photograph of Harry with both children from behind, beneath a "Happy Father's Day" banner.

The Sussexes have been raising their children in California since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, settling in Meghan's home state.

Recently, eagle-eyed royal fans have been able to glean insights about the young Princess Lilibet as she has featured heavily in many of the Duchess's recent posts.

Lilibet's sporting of a £35 rainbow crossbody bag from British toy brand Jellycat prompted royal watchers to make a sweet connection with Prince William and Princess Kate's children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The toy brand recently received royal endorsement from Prince William, who described Jellycat products as "children's currency" and "gold dust" during a Buckingham Palace garden party in May.

The Prince of Wales made the comments after receiving two Jellycat toys as gifts from Mateo Robayana, the younger brother of the late teenage photographer Liz Hatton.

"My children will love these. They are children's currency," William said upon receiving a lemon pie and pickled onion Jellycat toy.

He added: "These are like gold dust. My children go crazy for these things."
