The Duke of Sussex launched several attacks on the Prince and Princess of Wales in his autobiography

Princess Kate and Prince William will tolerate Prince Harry at the Coronation according to a royal commentator.

Kinsey Schofield said that Kate and William would have had a harder time dealing with Meghan Markle, had the Duchess of Sussex also come to the Coronation.

She said: "Both William and Catherine will tolerate Harry's presence because, despite the bad blood and betrayal, there is a deep love for him in both of them.

"The same could not be said for Meghan. I think William and Catherine would have had a much harder time navigating that.

"I do not anticipate warm interactions between Harry and his older brother.

"We know that Palace staff is planning every entry, exit and seat with the battling brothers in mind.

"The Palace's ultimate objective is to avoid conflict."

Schofield told Fox Digital: "William, without a doubt, was the most hurt by Harry's actions. The two have not spoken since the Queen's funeral. And certainly not since the Netflix series or book.

"And despite Harry telling media outlets that he would only attend the Coronation if his family received an apology... my sources say that no such apology has happened in private."

Last week it was confirmed that Prince Harry would come to King Charles's Coronation on his own.

Meghan Markle will stay in California alongside their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

It comes as a royal author claims the Sussexes' relationship with the monarchy has deteriorated so much that Kate found participating in a walkabout with Meghan and Harry "one of the hardest things she has had to do".

Kate, Prince William, Prince Harry and Meghan spoke with members of the public together during the walkabout following the Queen's death.

In his new book titled Our King Charles III: The Man and the Monarch Revealed, Jobson claims sources told him that while the royals looked united on the day, it was not the case.

The royal author said that according to sources, the image of unity was an “illusion”.

He wrote: "Catherine later admitted to a senior royal that, such was the ill feeling between the two couples, the joint walkabout was one of the hardest things she’d ever had to do."
