Prince William and Prince George will play pivotal roles at the Coronation

Kate and Prince William were joined by Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis during a rehearsal for King Charles's Coronation

King Charles and Camilla also attended the event at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday.

Just three days before the Coronation, the Royal Family were greeted by the Dean of Westminster and shown inside the gothic church.

King Charles's sister Princess Anne also participated in the rehearsal.

Charles and Camilla will be crowned in front of 2,300 guests and a global audience of millions.

Prince William will kneel before Charles and vow to be his “liege man of life and limb” in the only homage of royal blood of the ceremony.

The Prince of Wales will also help clothe his father in his golden robe royal, also known as the mantle, ahead of his crowning.

Prince George has the duty of being one of his grandfather’s pages of honour.

The future king is expected to be tasked with holding the train of Charles’ regal robes.

In a similar move to King Charles, Camilla’s grandsons will act as her pages of honour.

Prince Harry did not attend the rehearsal but is still expected to attend the ceremony.

Last month, it was announced that the Duke of Sussex would attend the Coronation without his wife Meghan Markle.

The Palace said in a statement: "Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May.

"The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet."

Meghan and Harry's son Archie will turn four on May 6, the same day as King Charles's Coronation.

Prince Harry is expected to fly back to the US after the ceremony to celebrate his son's birthday.
