Kate and William "would rather have Andrew than Meghan and Harry as neighbours" according to a royal commentator.
King Charles has offered the keys to Frogmore Cottage to Prince Andrew as he pushes ahead with evicting his son and his wife from their UK base.
The King's decision is said to have the support of senior workings royals whilst non-working members of the monarchy are reportedly "appalled" by the treatment of the Sussexes.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond said the Prince and Princess of Wales are "absolutely supportive" of King Charles.

Bond said: "They will be absolutely supportive of Charles’ decision.
"They probably don’t want Harry and Meghan as their near neighbours.
"I think they would probably have Andrew.
"They will be completely on board with this and support Charles."
She added during her interview on the BBC: "Charles has probably spoken to William about this, but I think they talk about these things a lot."
It comes as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry confirmed they have been asked to leave Frogmore Cottage.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were given use of the five-bedroom property by the Queen as a wedding present in 2018.
But Meghan and Harry have barely lived in the royal residence over the last three years.

A spokesperson for the Sussexes said: "We can confirm The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage."

A royal insider told The Sun: "This eviction surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan’s time in the UK.
"Andrew is resisting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week.
"But it shows Harry and Meghan are powerless to stop the eviction."
