Princess Kate and Prince William are supporting King Charles at a Thanksgiving Service at Westminster Abbey today to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
The King and Queen were joined by The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and The Duke of Kent.
Upon arrival, the Royal Family joined the congregation in observing a national two-minute silence of reflection and remembrance.
His Majesty laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior. The Prince of Wales followed suit in the solemn ceremony.

The Service of Thanksgiving is commemorating the sacrifice of the Second World War generation.
During the service, the Prime Minister delivered a reading, honouring those who served in the conflict.
Following the service, The King and Queen met with veterans in the congregation.
As they departed Westminster Abbey, Camilla led other members of the Royal Family in laying flowers at the Innocent Victims' Memorial, located outside the Abbey's West Door.

The Prince and Princess of Wales wrote: "For those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Second World War, we will remember them."
King Charles's note stated: "We will never forget."
Charles wore a lounge suit with medals and neck order for the occasion.
Queen Camilla was dressed in a white crepe silk dress and white coat with black stitching by Anna Valentine.
Her ensemble was completed with a black and white hat by Phillip Treacy and a brooch of the 12th Lancers.

VE Day on May 8, 1945 marked the end of hostilities in Europe after nearly six years of fighting against Hitler's Nazi regime.
Church bells rang out across the nation as people celebrated, with crowds gathering outside Buckingham Palace calling for King George VI.
The war against Japan continued until August 15 that year.
