However, Princess Kate may be using the cheekiest nicknames of all, as she reportedly refers to her husband Prince William as "Big Willy."
The pair first met at St Andrews University in Scotland. Although William said he doesn’t remember the exact moment they first met, Kate recalled to ITV News that she went “bright red” and “scuttled off” when she encountered the young prince for the first time.
Kate Nicholl’s book "Kate: The Future Queen" had been dubbed "Beautiful Kate" by the end of Freshers' Week. She writes: "She was initially more reserved than many of the other young women, but her natural beauty was apparent."
The book added: "She radiated an outer freshness and an inner confidence."

After the pair got engaged, Kate was able to recall the moment they met straight away, but William struggled to remember and said he'd have to "wrack his brains".
Kate said: "I actually went bright red when I met you and scuttled off feeling very shy about meeting you."
She added: "William wasn't there for quite a bit of the time initially, he wasn't there from Fresher's Week, so it did take a bit of time for us to get to know each other. But we did become very close friends from quite early on."
William told ITV: "We moved in together as friends because we were living together. We lived with a couple of others as well, and it just sort of blossomed from there, really. We just saw more of each other, hung out a bit more, and did stuff."
It comes as the pair issued a new statement ahead of the start of the Paralympics. The royal couple wrote on X: "Looking forward to another few weeks of incredible sport! Wishing the very best of luck to our @ParalympicsGB athletes and all those competing at #Paris2024. W & C."
