Prince Harry's previous attacks against Princess Kate are blocking Prince William's forgiveness towards his brother, according to a commentator.
The Prince of Wales appears unwilling to forgive the Duke of Sussex despite recent peace talks between Prince Harry and King Charles's senior aides.
The assessment comes as representatives from both camps held a secret summit in London, sparking speculation about potential reconciliation between Harry and his father.
Vickers told The Sun that whilst there's "always a hope for reconciliation" between Harry and Charles, the prospect of the brothers mending their relationship appears far more remote.

|Princess Kate attacks are blocking Prince William's forgiveness towards Prince Harry.
He explained that William is "likely to be more of an unforgiving person than his father" due to the nature of Harry's past criticisms.
Vickers emphasised that the "barbs were sent in his direction from Prince Harry, but very much directed towards Catherine". He described these attacks as "very insulting", explaining why William's position differs from his father's more forgiving stance.
The royal commentator advised that Harry should focus on repairing his relationship with Charles first. "I think at the moment, if I was advising Prince Harry, I would say, get onto good terms with your father as soon as possible, and then that's step one and step two, try to get on good terms with your brother," Vickers said.
His analysis suggests that whilst reconciliation with the King remains possible, William's protective stance towards his wife makes brotherly forgiveness a far more challenging prospect.
The brothers' relationship deteriorated after Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals in January 2020. Their feud intensified following Harry's memoir Spare, published in January 2023, which contained allegations that William had physically attacked him in 2019.
William and Harry have not been in direct communication since the memoir's release. Their last reported interaction occurred at Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022, with only brief exchanges.
The Sussexes' 2021 Oprah interview, which included claims about speculation regarding Prince Archie's skin colour, further damaged relations. Meghan also alleged that Kate had made her cry.
Despite Harry recently giving "his blessing" for peace talks with his father's aides, the meeting pointedly excluded William's representatives, underscoring the continuing rift between the brothers.
The commentator's comments highlighted the stark difference in how the King and his eldest son are approaching the possibility of reconciliation with Harry.
During the Sussex peace summit, at least three representatives from each side were photographed meeting at the Royal Over-Seas League, just three minutes from Clarence House.
The crunch talks notably excluded Prince William's aides.
Vickers questioned whether the visible balcony location was deliberate, suggesting it was "very odd to have a meeting on a balcony if it's meant to be private".
He expressed scepticism about how the meeting became public knowledge.
"I don't think it would be Buckingham Palace. I don't see what possible gain they would have out of leaking it. I'm afraid I think the Sussex team are," Vickers stated.
Reports subsequently emerged of Harry and Meghan's alleged frustration that the meeting made headlines.
A representative denied that their team leaked details of the chat.
