Foreign travel is currently doubtful for the princess, who underwent chemotherapy last year, with particular uncertainty surrounding her attendance at Prince William's Earthshot Awards in Brazil this November.
The Mail reports that whilst her participation "cannot entirely be ruled out", it is "not expected" as things stand, with Palace sources offering only "tbc" when pressed on the matter.

The Princess of Wales is taking a measured approach to resuming royal duties following her cancer treatment, prioritising UK-based engagements whilst maintaining flexibility in her recovery schedule.
According to sources speaking to the Mail, Kate is "quite strict now at working out what she needs to be at and what she doesn't."
Her recent non-attendance at Royal Ascot, despite initial plans to accompany Prince William, highlighted the ongoing nature of her recovery.
Palace officials stated she was "disappointed" but needed to "find the right balance as she fully returns to public-facing duties."

Rather than international travel, Kate is expected to focus on domestic engagements this autumn, including more "royal away days" within the UK.
She tested this approach with a two-day visit to the Inner Hebrides in April and appears keen to undertake similar trips.
The princess's approach reflects a broader strategy of careful prioritisation as she continues her recovery journey.
Sources describe her as having gained "mental clarity" about what matters most, with one noting she "won't be rushed on her journey back to full health."

The outlet reports that her return remains a "work in progress", with some weeks featuring multiple appearances whilst others see none at all.
This flexible approach has the support of King Charles, who sources say is "entirely supportive of his daughter-in-law's approach."
As one source explained: "She wants to find the right balance and work with a greater degree of flexibility than before."
