Meghan Markle chose not to attend King Charles's Coronation earlier this year

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet would be welcome at King Charles's birthday alongside their parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to a royal commentator.

King Charles turns 74 in November and it is thought that the Sussexes will be invited to celebrate the occasion with the King.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are not currently on speaking terms with any other senior royals other than the King.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a strained relationship with Camilla, Kate and William following the publication of Harry's autobiography Spare.

In his memoir, Harry fired digs at his stepmother, his sister-in-law and his brother.

Prince Harry's new documentary for Netflix titled Heart of the Invictus is set to be released at the end of August.

It is not expected to contain any further attacks on the Royal Family as it will follow the journey of competitors at the 2022 Invictus Games.

Regarding the King's birthday, Angela Levin said: "Charles would want Harry and Meghan’s children there.

"If Harry and Meghan want to make an excuse, that’s their decision."

She added: "Harry will have to decide. The door is open."

The royal commentator also said that Harry could attend Charles's birthday with just his eldest child Archie.

Levin said: "He could go on his own and bring Archie with him.

"He’s a big boy now and he could see his cousins."

Meghan Markle chose not to attend King Charles's Coronation earlier this year.

The Duchess of Sussex remained in the US with Archie and Lilibet while Prince Harry went to the historic event on his own.
