Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have secured a major breakthrough in their bid to trademark their Archewell Foundation.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched their trademark application in 2020 and had several hurdles to overcome.
The Archewell Foundation has now been granted final examiner clearance after meeting all requirements for trademark status.
The application was updated as recently as August 16 and will now be passed on to an examiner to formally grant the trademark.

In addition, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s trademark for Archewell Audio was cleared for final registration over the weekend.
The application covers podcasts, live performances and audio projects.

Archewell has not released its income for 2024, but in 2023 the figure was £4.25million.
In comparison, the Prince and Princess of Wales's Royal Foundation raised £12.2million in income last year, compared with just under £8million the year before.

The organisation is separate from Prince William's Earthshot Prize, which had a total income of £23.5million for 2024.
That figure included a 68 per cent increase in donations, up from £12.8million to £21.4million.
Across Prince William and Princess Kate's Royal Foundation and the Earthshot Prize total income was £34million.
