US Political commentator Jennifer Ewing has claimed that "Americans are being forgotten" as US towns are "overrun" with migrants.
She gave her verdict after Donald Trump claimed last night that immigrants in Ohio were eating people's pets.
The claim was quickly slapped down by ABC News moderator David Muir, who stated that the Ohio City manager said "no credible reports of specific claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community."
Speaking to GB News, Ewing said: "Going back several months, there are city council meetings where people are complaining about this, but the story is bigger.

"This is actually a town in Ohio of 60,000 people and 20,000 Haitian immigrants were moved into it because Kamala Harris said, 'we've put them into this special program that gives them status so they can come in' and violence has increased.
"I think the bigger issue here is, just like with the flyover states, the deplorables. No one's listening to these poor people who've had their town overrun.

"Whether somebody ate their cat or stole a goose from the pond seems to be debatable.
"But the bigger story, which encompasses the entire election, is there are forgotten people who are not being listened to. Just like in 2016 when Trump heard those people, I think that's what will happen again this time."
The debate last night was the first televised one between Trump and Kamala Harris, and it did not disappoint.
Throughout the event, the former president blasted Harris for having "no policies" and accused her of stealing his ideas.
Trump and Harris debated last night
ABCThe debate took a dramatic turn when Harris blasted Trump over fans walking out of his rally, saying that people were "bored."
The Democratic nominee said: "I'm going to invite you to attend one of Donald Trump's rallies because it's a really interesting thing to watch. You see during the course of his rallies he talks about fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter. He will talk about how windmills cause cancer.
'"And what you will also notice is that people start leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion and boredom."
When it was Trump's turn to respond, he said: "She said people start leaving. People don't go to her rallies. There's no reason to go. And the people that do go, she's busing them in and paying them to be there. People don't leave my rallies. We have the biggest rallies, the most incredible rallies in the history of politics."
The comment also prompted Trump to make his controversial comment that pets were being eaten by Haitian immigrants
Trump said: "What they have done to our country by allowing these millions and millions of people to come into our country and look at what’s happening to the towns all over the United States.
“In Springfield, they’re eating the dogs. The people that came in. They’re eating the cats. They’re eating – they’re eating the pets of the people that live there. And this is what’s happening in our country, and it’s a shame."
The former president's MAGA allies accused the ABC moderators of bias for fact-checking some of Trump's statements throughout the night.
