A Republican spokesperson has claimed there is "no way" Joe Biden will remain the Democratic candidate, as the US President faces increasing calls to step down ahead of the party's convention.
The 81-year-old leader of the free world has sparked fresh health concerns in recent weeks following a series of gaffes, most notably at last week's Nato Summit, where he introduced Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky as "President Putin".
However, Biden has affirmed to the world's press that "only God Almighty" can get him to step down as President before November's election.
Speaking to GB News, Republicans Overseas UK Spokesperson Jennifer Ewing said the Democrats "have a problem" if Biden does decide to step down ahead of the party's August convention.

Delivering her verdict on the President's apparent declining cognitive health, Ewing explained: "I'm somebody that even a year ago didn't think Biden would be the nominee come November 2024.
"I think all that's happened is in the last few weeks, after the debate, the media had to come clean and couldn't cover for him anymore.
"Once that's happened, different Democrats have had to come out because they don't want to risk their reputations, they don't want to risk their future."
Noting Biden's determination to carry on with his election campaign against Donald Trump, Ewing told GB News that his "close circle" is "standing their ground" on keeping the President in the race until the election.

Ewing said: "Joe Biden and his close family - his wife, his son Hunter, his brother and sister and very close inner circle of people are standing their ground.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"There's no love lost between the Biden's and the Obama's, so Obama putting pressure on Biden to go is almost going to cause Jill Biden to be telling her husband 'no, we're not going anywhere'."
When asked if she believes Biden should remain the candidate for the November election, Ewing claimed that he "cannot be the candidate".
Ewing admitted: "I've been observing him for the last three years, and there's only a few different ways they can do it, and most of them do involve indeed Biden deciding to step down, unless they want to 25th amendment him or impeach him.
"Everything I've seen and heard is there's no way he will be the candidate. Which makes you think if he can't be the candidate, what are we going to do for the next four months? He is the leader of the free world. So we've got a problem."

Turning the discussion to Donald Trump after the shooting at his rally in Pennsylvania, Ewing claimed that even the Republican candidate and his team "do not want Biden to step down", as they know "polls in the swing states are in Trump's favour".
Ewing told GB News: "You may have noticed this in Trump's speech or from the Republican pundits, they don't want Joe Biden to step down either, because most of the polls in the swing states now, especially after the debate, show clearly that Donald Trump would beat him in November.
"What Trump is doing by appointing JD Vance is pretty much a confident choice - he's doubling down on 'Make America Great Again', and strategically, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania are somewhat up for grabs.
"JD Vance is the American dream. He speaks very well for a lot of people, and I think it's a great choice."
