Donald Trump demands Biden 'reimburse GOP for fraud' after dropping out of Presidential race

Donald Trump has demanded Joe Biden reimburses the Republican Party for “fraud” after dropping out of the 2024 US Presidential Election.
Trump, 78, yesterday accused Biden’s closest aides and allies of knowing the 46th President would drop out of the race.
The 45th President looked set to have a rematch against his 2020 foe on November 5, with both men crusing to victory in their respective primary races.
However, in a move comparable to Lyndon B Johnson’s in 1968, Biden announced he is withdrawing from the race.
The 46th President also endorsed his Vice President Kamala Harris to top the Democratic Party’s ticket.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump complained about spending money to campaign against Biden.
Trump said: “So, we are forced to spend time and money on fighting Crooked Joe Biden, he polls badly after having a terrible debate, and quits the race. Now we have to start all over again.”
The 45th President added: “Shouldn’t the Republican Party be reimbursed for fraud in that everybody around Joe, including his doctors and the Fake News Media, knew he was not capable of running for, or being, President? Just askin’?”

ReutersIn a further blow to Trump, Democrats received an almost instant boost after liberal action committee ActBlue received a surge in donations.
ActBlue claimed a whopping $46.7million was raised just hours after Biden withdrew from the race.
However, it is understood that the Trump team have been preparing for Biden to drop out of the race for some time.
Trump, who is hoping to become just the second Commander-in-Chief to serve two non-consecutive terms in the Oval Office, claimed Biden would step aside after last month’s head-to-head debate.

Trump added: “He [Biden] just quit you know – he’s quitting the race... I got him out. And that means we have Kamala.
“I think she’s going to be better – she’s so bad, she’s so pathetic.”
Trump started to turn his attention to Harris following the debate in Atlanta, with an advert reading: “This November: Vote Republican. Stop Kamala.”
Donald Trump has started attacking Kamala Harris
ReutersEfforts against Harris have been ramped up since Sunday’s announcement.
Opinion polls appear to support positive musings from inside Mar-a-Lago by suggesting Trump is well-positioned to crush Harris on November 5.
The latest JL Partners poll put Trump 11 points clear of Harris, with his lead over Biden being much narrower at five per cent.
Trump leads Harris in a number of key states, including Arizona and Michigan.
