The 45th President visited a Chick-fil-A restaurant en route to a fundraising event in Georgia

Donald Trump has claimed he knows the menu of a popular American fast-food chain better than staff.

Trump, 77, made the remark while ordering 30 milkshakes to hand out to patrons.

The 45th President stopped off at Atlanta Chick-fil-A on Wednesday ahead of a fundraising event.

Trump was filmed approaching the counter, paying compliments to stay and asking a cashier what the day’s speciality was.

He said: “I know this menu better than you do.

Trump, who claimed the owner of the Chick-fil-A he visited on Wednesday is a member at one of his golf clubs, added: “I probably know it better than anybody in here.”

Local reports have claimed the eatery’s owner does not know the former Commander-in-Chief.

Trump’s love for fast food is widely reported, with the 45th President “personally paying” for college footballers to gorge on McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Burger King.

However, the 77-year-old’s visit to Georgia will come as no shock ahead of the election on November 5.

Trump became the first Republican nominee to lose to Peach State since 1992.

A recent Redfield & Wilton Strategies poll found Trump was now leading Biden by three per cent in Georgia.

Trump, who won the Peach State in 2016 by 211,141 votes, lost in 2020 by just 11,779 ballots.

Much has been made of Trump’s ability to court the African-American vote.

A Gallup survey found the Democrats' net lead over the Republicans with black voters dropped from 68 per cent in 2016 to just 47 per cent in 2023.

A similar shift has been seen among Hispanic voters, with the Democrats' 36 per cent lead being reduced to just 12 per cent.

The property-tycoon-turned-politician is subject to a criminal lawsuit in Georgia after being accused of attempting to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.

However, Trump’s legal woes will instead next week continue in Manhattan over allegations the 45th President attempted to pay porn star Stormy Daniels “hush money” to keep quiet about a supposed affair.
