Donald Trump will face Joe Biden in the Presidential Election rematch this November

Former US President Donald Trump has told GB News that Joe Biden is "unfit" to be leader of the United States, as the next presidential election looms closer.

Sitting down with GB News presenter Nigel Farage for an exclusive interview, Trump said the current President is not "mentally and physically able" to lead America in a second term.

Trump slammed the "disgrace" the country is currently facing since the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, and pledged to "not let that happen again" if he is re-elected.

When asked by Nigel how he is feeling about his leadership campaign this year, Trump revealed he believes he is going to do "very well", and the polls are "leading with him by a lot" in comparison to Joe Biden.

Criticising Joe Biden's efforts as President, Trump branded him the " worst President in history", stating: "Everything is bad with our country right now, it's gotten so bad under this guy."

When questioned by Nigel on how his campaign is succeeding given his legal challenges against the US courts, Trump claimed the government is "corrupt" and run by a "very corrupt and incompetent man named Biden".

Trump fumed: "Our country's gone to hell and it's gone to hell fast.

"And if we don't win I'll tell you, I made this statement the other day, November 5th that's election day, that's not that far away.

"November 5th is going to be the most important day in the history of our country."

When pressed on his honest assessment of Joe Biden's cognitive capabilities as President and if he can successfully lead a second term, Trump said the current leader is "unfit mentally and unfit physically", admitting "I don't know how he's gonna make it, but maybe he will".

Trump discussed the main issue driving the US vote for the election, the US border crisis, and told GB News: "In 2016 I ran on the border because the border was broken.

"But it was a fraction, this was a peanut compared to an elephant, but I fixed it very quickly and made it good.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

"Then this guy came in and destroyed it. He took all of the things that I did and he took them off. And we know have an open sieve, it's an open sieve. We have a horrible border.

"I would say we had the best border we ever had, and now we have the worst border in the history of the world. We have people coming from countries that nobody ever heard of.

"And they're flowing into our country like water would flow in."

Outlining the influence of the ongoing border crisis on the election and the American voters, Trump claimed the American public "aren't going to stand for it".

Trump told Nigel: "Seven months is a long time when you have somebody as destructive and incompetent as this President. That's a long time. A lot of bad things can happen to our country in that seven months.

"We got a crooked guy. He's an incompetent President. He's done a terrible job. I say in rallies, and you've been to many of the rallies that if you take the worst 10 Presidents in the history of the US, you add them up, you can multiply by two, he's done more damage to our country than these 10 people.

"There is no President that has ever done this to our country, what he's done to the fabric of our country by allowing millions and millions of people to come in from all over the world."
