A woman who was hit by a Ulez car last week has accused Sadiq Khan of a "cover up", threatening to take legal action over the issue.

Despite Transport for London (TfL) and the Metropolitan Police saying Watts was "not seriously hurt", she claims she can not get upstairs to bed and is still in "a lot of pain".

Watt was knocked over by the car in Biggin Hill, south London at around 4.30pm on Armistice Day.

She and other anti-Ulez activists were blocking the road when the vehicle drove into her and allegedly didn't stop.

Footage shows Watt lying on the tarmac after being knocked over, while the van drove away.

Writing on Facebook, she claimed she lost a week of work as a self-employed driving instructor.

Watt, who is a carer to her husband who has dementia, said: "When I do eventually close my eyes I wake up screaming with nightmares reliving the event."

She accused the driver of running her over “deliberately” and said she will be taking legal advice to take the issue further.

Watt added: “TfL has no right to say there were no serious injuries, no one has been in contact with me, they don’t know which hospital I attended or that I visited the doctor yesterday.

“This is a TfL/Khan cover up but I’m going to pursue this to the very end.

"It is not okay to do this to me, or to anyone, it will not be quietly covered up."

Responding to Watt's remarks, Conservative London mayoral candidate Susan Hall said Khan has "serious questions to answer".

She told GB News: "This is completely unacceptable.

MORE ULEZ FURY:

"Sadiq Khan has serious questions to answer about what his Ulez enforcers have been doing.

"For TfL to be downplaying the injury is a disgrace."

A spokesperson for TfL said: “Any injury sustained by a member of the public while using or interacting with our services is a concern and we are continuing to investigate the full circumstances of this incident. We would encourage Ms Watt to call our Sarah Hope line where we can offer her professional support following this incident.”

The Sarah Hope Line is a service run by TfL staff to provide practical, financial and emotional help.

City Hall has been contacted for comment.
