Rishi Sunak has been criticised for what Labour claimed was £8.2 billion of waste, occuring as a result of the Government's so-called "permanent state of disarray".
Sir Keir Starmer's party has launched a website, titled "Cost of Chaos", which shows their analysis of Rishi Sunak's time in Government.
It reads: "Rishi Sunak’s premiership has been defined by chaos. Since he took over in October 2022, his Government’s permanent state of disarray has cost taxpayers £8,200,000,000 and resulted in 314 wasted days."
Of the £8.2 billion total cost, Labour claims £4.1 billion was wasted as a result of "soaring mortgages", made up of "extra annual costs for homeowners coming off their fixed rate mortgages in the next year".

It also claims £2 million was wasted on by-elections. A total of 12 by-elections have been held in the UK since Sunak became Prime Minister.
The website says that £2.6billion has been spent on "Tory immigration chaos", explaining: "The Home Office had to ask for an emergency cash payment of £2,600,000,000 due to unforeseen expenditure on hotels for asylum seekers.
"The details were snuck out via a written statement to parliament, despite Rishi Sunak’s pledge to end the use of hotels for asylum seekers. The Government’s chaotic handling of the asylum system has seen the growth of a huge backlog and a huge bill for the taxpayer."
The website also outlines the number of days that have been "wasted", claiming that a "full month of working days was lost to recent government reshuffles" and 26 days were " lost due to Rishi's zombie parliament". It explains: "The average sitting hours in parliament have been on the decline under the Tories, with chaos and division meaning the government has often struggled to pass and timetable legislation.
"The current parliamentary session has seen the average sitting hours hit a record low, with Rishi Sunak presiding over a zombie parliament."
Labour's national campaign co-ordinator Pat McFadden MP said: "Rishi Sunak has presided over a Conservative party in chaos and has saddled the taxpayer with the bill.
"These shocking costs are the result of a party out of ideas, more interested in looking inwards than facing, and delivering for, the country.
“The country needs change and it is a Labour government that will deliver it.”
But Tory chairman Richard Holden accused the Labour Party of "wasting time with dodgy websites".

He said: "This is a desperate attempt to distract from the scandal engulfing Angela Rayner and Sir Keir Starmer's top team.
"Instead of wasting time with dodgy websites, the Labour Party should set out their plans.
"But the truth is they can't because they have no plan for this country, and that means they would take us right back to square one with higher taxes, more borrowing and higher unemployment."
