Speaking to GB News Community Editor Michael Heaver in Westminster, Olivia Utley discusses her path to joining the channel
GB News political correspondent, Olivia Utley has spoken of her decision to join Britain's News Channel.
Revealing her journey Olivia said: "I was really excited about GB News even before I joined.
"When I saw that it was starting up, I felt for a long time that there's a a gap in the market for a news channel that explores some of the issues that some of the more mainstream TV channels have have sort of routinely ignored.
"Issues about mass migration, for example, which sometimes just don't seem to be taken seriously by some of the the major media players."
Olivia went on to explain how: "I always felt that there was, there were issues which weren't being talked about properly and people in the country who weren't really being catered for with other channels.
"So I was really pleased when GB News set out. And then as it grew, I thought it was doing a fantastic job.
"And eventually I got in touch with them and said, hey, do you want to hire me? And that's why I'm here now."
