The Tesla CEO has called the Reform leader a 'weak sauce' again

Elon Musk has launched a scathing attack on Nigel Farage, saying the Reform UK leader "will change nothing of significance politically".

The Tech tycoon has endorsed Rupert Lowe's political movement in recent weeks, backing Advance UK to "save Britain".

He wrote on his social media platform X: "Farage is weak, runny sauce.

"He won't let Reform even stand up for their own people, eg punishing their Epping member, and he will change nothing of significance politically.

"Go with AdvanceUK, Ben [Habib] and Tommy [Robinson] for the real change that's needed to save Britain!"

The tweet has received 18,000 likes in less than two hours and has been viewed nearly two million times.

Leader of Advance UK Ben Habib responded to Mr Musk's comments saying: "Farage doesn't believe in the country, free speech, democracy or equality under the law.

"He would give up Northern Ireland (and Scotland). He shuts down freedom of speech in Reform.

"He is happy to dance to the tune of progressive discrimination, preferring minorities to the majority, and he uses lawfare. He is the opposite of what the country needs."

The Tesla CEO publicly backed Mr Habib's party last week, just months after turning away from Reform UK.

Mr Habib, who Nigel Farage replaced as Reform's deputy leader with Richard Tice last summer, launched his own party in late June this year.

Speaking to GB News at the time, he billed it as a new "political force on the British political landscape" - but denied it would "split the Reform vote".

Mr Musk said on X: "Advance UK will actually drive change. Farage is weak sauce, who will do nothing."

Mr Habib then told GB News that he and the owner of X had been in contact since January.

The Advance UK leader said: "He shares three beliefs with me. First, Western civilisation faces its end, the way it's being governed.

"Second, as far as the UK is concerned, Farage is not the answer. And now, third, Advance UK, is the answer. There is great love and concern about the UK in the US. Elon Musk is one of them.

"The UK's betterment is much assisted by the protective umbrella of people like him."

In December last year, Mr Musk met Mr Farage and Reform UK treasurer Nick Candy, with rumours at the time of a multi-million-pound donation.

Nothing came to fruition, except for a public fallout between the tech tycoon and the Reform leader.

Mr Farage said Mr Musk was only "trying to encourage" him when he called for his sacking, adding: "He was just trying to encourage me in a few policy areas, ones I wasn't prepared to go down."

GB News has approached Reform UK for comment.
