A former Tory MP who resigned from politics amid a sex and drug scandal has died aged 59.
David Warburton was pronounced dead last Tuesday after paramedics rushed to his Chelsea flat.
He had served as the MP for Somerset and Frome for over eight years, from May 2015 to June 2023.
The cause of death is still unknown, but it is understood not to be suspicious.
Mr Warburton was suspended from the Conservative Party in April 2022 after allegations were made of sexual harassment and class A drug use, claims he denies.
He admitted to the use of cocaine after drinking "incredibly potent" whisky, but denied any form of harassment.
The parliamentary Independent Complaints and Grievance Scheme (ICGS) launched an official investigation.
He resigned his seat in June 2023.

Following the allegations of making advances on two women, Mr Warbuton claimed he was denied a fair hearing with the watchdog.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called on Tuesday 26 August at 10.14am to reports of an incident in Chelsea Crescent, Chelsea Harbour, SW10.
"We sent an ambulance crew and a clinician in a response car."

They added: "Sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene."
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 10:47 on Tuesday, August 26 to an address at Chelsea Crescent, Sands End.
"A man in his 50s was found dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
"His death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious."
