Reform UK London Mayoral candidate Howard Cox writes for GB News Membership about Sadiq Khan's time in office

Just when you thought that the Mayor of London could not get any lower in his pursuit of fleecing motorists, yet again he is proven by the Advertising Standards Authority to have used even more pathological lies to justify his cash grabbing Ulez scheme.

TfL breached ASA’s rules on three occasions, including with the suggestion that one of the most polluted places in London is inside your car.

Another was the claim that most air pollution related deaths actually occur in Outer London, as well as the claim that the introduction of Ulez resulted in almost halving the levels of nitrogen dioxide in central London.

All these claims were manufactured to make Ulez look as though it is saving the planet.

It’s clear that dishonesty runs deeper than the Grand Canyon in Sadiq Khan's Mayoralty.

His published mendacities that were deliberately used to mislead the public in order to implement a political attack on London's drivers should now be classified as the norm, most certainly not the exception.

Millions of pounds have been stolen from London’s low-income families and small businesses based on his ULEZ propaganda machine.

A myopically brainwashed press department that manipulates public consultations, exaggerates air quality health fatality data and uses emotion to dictate policy not objective facts.

I remain staggered that anyone of integrity can put pen to paper and push out such lies in the form of adverts.

These well paid to be creative bods have been obviously been coaxed by a corrupt TfL under the instruction of a dishonest egomaniac hell bent on destroying London’s economy and social cohesion.

All driven by the green virtue signalling political agenda written by Sadiq Khan.

But maybe the Mayor of London has been given to much free reign.

I have asked our next Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer on more than one occasion to throw out this self-serving politician from the Labour Party.

He brings nothing but dishonour and disrepute to a proud political party.

Why has the Labour leader been so hands off this fraudulent administration.

Surely, he knows that when Khan puts out his ill-informed edicts, they are in fact, entirely based on lies.

But even worse under Rishi Sunak, why has the Transport Secretary not used devolution legislation to overrule Khan’ transport strategy inconsistent with national government policies.

And why hasn’t my fellow Mayoral Candidate, Susan Hall and also her Tory colleagues at City Hall taken this immoral Mayor to court to prevent the Ulez expansion ever taking place.

Instead, they allowed him to put up a political ‘V’ sign to their Kleenex strength rhetoric.

In fact, the Conservatives have been in opposition in the London Assembly for eight years and have allowed Sadiq Khan to bring London to a virtual standstill, economic decline, let him establish a massive black hole budgetary deficit, ignore those public consultation results, exploit false health fatality data, increase crime, make certain streets no-go zones, and prevent affordable housing builds.

And that’s why the Tories cannot be allowed to take charge at City Hall either.

Khan must immediately be subject to full scale public enquiry to expose his chronic lies and fraudulent behaviour.

Above all, he must be immediately removed from public office, for the full economic reparation of our once respected capital city to commence. But who has the cajónes to do that?

A Conservative Party source: "Unlike Howard, Susan was part of the team that launched the legal challenge against the Ulez expansion last year.

"Susan is the only one who can stop it for good at the ballot box in May. Voting for anyone else is a vote for more Ulez, more Sadiq Khan, and a new pay-per-mile tax."
