I hate Boris Johnson. He told huge lies about how he would control immigration in order to get elected, and then, in office, proved to be a mixture of incompetence and disinterest, which left our nation changed forever. He took us for fools, and we were.
Thanks to his policies, net migration in 2023 was 906,000, and last year was 728,000. No wonder the make-up of our major cities will never be the same again.
Public services can’t cope. You have a higher chance of winning an Omaze house than getting a same-day appointment with a GP.
Correctly, it’s called Boriswave. All down to him. And he has the damned cheek to be plotting a comeback. Carry on picking up £250,000 from private equity for a morning’s chat with Venezuela’s Left-wing president and leave us alone.
I promise you Nigel Farage is not the idiot that Johnson turned out to be, and Reform’s decision to abolish the rights of migrants to qualify for permanent settlement in the UK after five years of landing here will put right the Tory wrongs.
The number of people able to apply to stay here permanently is staggering. This will be north of 270,000, 416,000 in 2027, 627,000 in 2028.
Indefinite leave to remain gives migrants the right to claim benefits for the first time. Under the Farage plan, they won’t be able to seek welfare any longer.

All migrants who have already been granted permanent residency will have to apply for visas under the new strict policies. If they fail, they will be kicked out. Bravo. That may run into hundreds of thousands of migrants.
Imagine lawyers will be rubbing their hands together at the thought. I am hopeful Farage will pass laws that will stop these legal vultures in their tracks.
Plus, alter the system that allows Starmer-lookalikes to automatically end up in the Supreme Court. These visa changes would bring us in line with countries like the United Arab Emirates. Never thought I would look to the Middle East to be our saviour.
I love these ideas, but fear that thanks to Boris and the other idiots ( including Kemi) who allowed this invasion to take place, the UK will never be the same again.
The only good news is that with every populist policy, Starmer looks further and further away from power. The last poll I saw ( from Find Out Now) had them at one per cent, which would give them just 44 seats in the next Parliament.
The arrival of cheap and unskilled labour from all over the world will have affected Labour voters even more than the Tory idiots who allowed them in.
As a human rights lawyer ( he actually wrote the book), he is incapable of seeing the changes in our nation as plain wrong, as we never got the opportunity to vote for it.
For the first time, I know it’s four years away, but we will get that opportunity. And I have no doubt we will take it both hands. Boris opened the door not only to millions of migrants but to Nigel Farage. And for that, we must be thankful.
