The ruling class are woefully out of touch

Now I’ve often said on this show that the ruling class in this country, the elites who dominate the institutions, are woefully out of touch with the Forgotten Majority of hardworking, law-abiding, tax-paying people who have to live with the consequences of their decisions

And tonight we have yet more evidence of just how big this gulf has become.

In an exclusive story for GB News, JL Partners has revealed shock new polling that brings light to what we all knew to be true for so long.

Day after day we bring to you more and more stories of foreign criminals and illegal migrants avoiding deportation for all sorts of nonsensical excuses from our courts, but almost every time, the reason lies with the notion of human rights.

But this new polling reveals something shocking, which blasts the establishment liberal consensus apart

Britons overwhelmingly support deporting foreign criminals who commit serious crimes even if they are at risk of torture in their home countries.

Yes, you heard that right.

How often do we hear we can’t deport convicted pedophiles, drug dealers and gang members because their human rights may be breached upon returning to their home country?

Well guess what?

The British people do not care anymore. They’ve had enough.

Yes, this polling has shown a consensus-busting 81 per cent of British people support the policy of deporting those found guilty of crimes like rape or paedophilia.

Indeed, only six per cent objected to the idea of deporting these bad apples.

Matt Goodwin says new data shatters the liberal consensus

Rarely on any political issue do we achieve near unanimity - but on deportations, we’re practically there. Never before has there been such support for a given policy, and such a gulf between public opinion and the governing class.

This polling revealed that 89 per cent of Tory voters support the idea, 85 per cent of Reform voters, 80 per cent of Lib Dems, 79 per cent of Labour voters and even 72 per cent of Greens.

Practically everyone appears to agree deporting foreign criminals, even if they face human rights abuses, except for one group.

And that group is the liberal establishment class. The new elites. The people who have risen to the top of our governance infrastructure, who make the decisions and prop up the failing status quo. They are the people who espouse the defunct liberal consensus.

They are the Luxury Belief Class –the people who preach luxury beliefs like open borders and letting foreign criminals stay in our country but who will never suffer the consequences

It’s not their kids who will become victims of the rape gangs; it’s not them or their friends who will have to live next to Housing for Multiple Occupants, crammed full of men from Iraq and Syria

Hope, it will be the hard-working Forgotten Majority.

This data proves we are now rapidly approaching a watershed moment in British politics –a moment in which everybody can see just how utterly out of touch the people who rule over us really are

If we truly want to call ourselves a democratic country, then I think it’s time to execute the will of the forgotten majority of the public and begin deporting illegal migrants and foreign criminals, while securing our borders and slashing the net figure to zero.
