Martin Daubney spoke to GBN members in a post-show video

Martin Daubney has slammed Natalie Elphicke for her defection to Labour today as he reveals his true opinion on her decision to GBN members.

The GB News presenter speaking in a post-show video said: "It was the Nigel Farage and a Michelle Dewberry outside broadcast in Deal, which of course is next to Dover and Natalie Elphicke was the MP at that time for the Conservative Party.

"Now she was meant to be on the show. She bottled it. She didn't come into the studio.

"There are about 100 people there and I'll tell you this, they were dyed in the wool Brexiteer. They felt that the RNLI had become a taxi service. They were furious about immigrants pouring into the country.

"Many of them told us they would see them running across the beaches. Some even told us they'd ran into their gardens through the villages outside of the area. They were deeply concerned.

"They put the blame squarely on people like Natalie Elphicke. Now today she's come out and blamed Rishi Sunak. You can't control the borders. You can't stop the boats. Well, Natalie, you were the member of Parliament for the area that's the epicentre, literally the landing beach, the landing platform for thousands and thousands and thousands of those, mainly men on to those beaches from the dinghies.

"And now Natalie Elphicke is casting herself as one of the good guys."

He continued: "I've had enough. I'm joining Sir Keir Starmer, she criticized Sir Keir Starmer. We read out on the show today.

"We went through her own social media history calling him. She was saying that Starmer can't be trusted on borders. And there's a picture of Sir Keir Starmer with an open door, saying this is his policy on borders, hugely critical of him.

"Now she's crossed the floor and shaking hands and cosying up to say Sir Keir Starmer. Here's what I think. I think her political career was heading off the white cliffs of Dover. Like Thelma and Louise, she was going to go out in style.

"No chance on earth of winning at the next election. More chance of me being an astronaut."
