Let’s cut to the chase. When it comes to immigration, Starmer is a liar, a charlatan, a deceiver and a fraud. And those are his strengths. The reality is he just doesn’t care.
In fact, he made his money as a human rights lawyer out of these people, so he favours them coming here. More of them, more for me and more votes for Labour.
Then a problem appeared on the horizon. It was called Nigel Farage.
He didn’t have the same view towards migrants. And worse than that, the public shared Farage's view, not Starmer's. With the latter's party on 22 per cent in the polls and Reform disappearing over the hill at 32, something had to be done.
That’s why he broke his code of silence on the subject and promised a ‘’significant’’ cut to net migration by the end of the decade. If that ever happens, which I seriously doubt, he will be pushing a broom outside Morrisons for a living as he will have been thrown out by Reform, which genuinely wants to turn back the migrants.
Look, the public aren't stupid. Actually, that’s not true.
They were stupid enough to vote Labour in with a massive majority knowing in their hearts Starmer and his chums wouldn’t do a thing about migration as they viewed anybody who objected to not seeing a doctor, not getting their kids into their preferred school, or simply the changing culture of our nation, as racists.
The Prime Minister thought he could kick the can down the road by chanting ‘’smash the gangs". That worked well, didn’t it? Boat crossings are up 40 per cent on last year, bringing 8,064 unwelcome visitors to our shores.
So, what to do? An emergency press conference will do the trick.
Let's be clear: we're already an island of strangers thanks to Starmer and the Tories - Kelvin MacKenzie

The first thing Starmer announces is that a migrant convicted of any crime will be kicked out. Astonishing thing for him to say that as five years ago he signed a letter objecting to the deportation of foreign criminals.
Therefore, you know for certain that he doesn’t believe in that policy. Nor can it be achieved. Firstly, what makes him believe that Pakistan, India, Bangladesh or any number of African countries would take back their criminals?
Secondly, which country do we send them back to? The first thing the migrants do as they cross the Channel is to throw away their passports so they can’t be identified.
That way, they can make up any story to impress a judge. They were gay, they were abused, they had relatives in Leicester, they had children here. Any old rubbish, but difficult to disprove.
I welcome some of his ideas, but am puzzled how his plan to ensure newcomers integrate into society will work.
As far as him saying the UK risks becoming an ‘’island of strangers", where has he been this last couple of decades? In many cities, it’s already true. The culture of our country is changing at an astonishing rate.
I’ve just returned from a few days in Rome, where what struck me was that the people who served in the cafes, the restaurants, the shops, were white and Italian. That would never happen in London, Birmingham or Manchester.
His speech will get plenty of airplay, but I absolutely guarantee that it won’t make any difference to the polling. Voters are sick and tired of being lied to by the Starmers and the Boris Johnsons of this world.
The Conservatives are at least as bad Starmer. They had a decade to push back the migrants. But starting with Cameron being pro-EU he didn’t want to upset his European mates, and Johnson was simply too lazy and too anxious to be friends with everybody to do the right thing.
I see that the hopeless shadow Home Secretary Chris Philip apologised for the fact that in one year the Tories had allowed net migration of almost one million, equivalent to the city of Birmingham. What he didn’t say was that he had been a Tory MP for ten years and a minister for two years and had said absolutely bugger all about immigration in that time.
The truth is that Starmer is a fraud. The voters have worked him out. No matter what he says about immigration, they won’t believe him. And they’re right.
The more you see other politicians at work, you know Farage, as long as he keeps his health, will be PM in 2029.
