If the Tory party genuinely thinks Jeremy Hunt is the answer, then let me clear they are asking the wrong question.
The globalists and the remoaners are gravitating towards a man who they think can return Britain to a pre-Brexit status quo.
Hunt would be the ideal candidate for the bloc – a return to the ascendency for the liberal elite, who have never accepted the vote to leave the European Union.
They must think we’re insane!
Hand the treasury over to Hunt!
Put him in a prime position to frustrate Boris’ bid to finally free Britain from EU tyranny. As if!

We’ve learned enough about Hunt over the past two years to realise the prospect of him in Number 10 Downing Street is frankly terrifying.
Now, firstly, we must remember this is the man who, as health secretary, failed to prepare the NHS for a pandemic.
Then, when the coronavirus hit our shores, he showed a spooky allegiance to the authoritarian approach to the virus being advocated by the Chinese communist government.
And then there was the bombshell revelation from Nadine Dorries on Monday afternoon, after Hunt admitted he would vote against Boris in the confidence vote.
The Culture Secretary tweeted: "On afternoon of 23rd July 2020 when I was health minister you telephoned me to tell me that we had to handle the pandemic following the example set by the East/China. That people testing and should be removed from their homes and placed into isolation hotels for two weeks.
Former Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has been mooted as a possible Boris Johnson replacement. House of Commons
"You said your wife’s family had experience of this during SARS. I said that British people would never tolerate being removed from their homes and loved ones at which point you demanded I show you the evidence for that. Your handling of the pandemic would have been a disaster.
"Your pandemic preparation during six years as health secretary was found wanting and inadequate. Your duplicity right now in destabilising the party and country to serve your own personal ambition, more so.
"You told others that PM and Gov would swiftly collapse on back of Brexit and you would swoop in. You told me as much in Victoria St after GE. If you had been leader you’d have handed the keys of No10 to Corbyn. You’ve been wrong about almost everything, you are wrong again now."
When it comes to Brexit, Hunt’s position was just as terrifying.
Boris Johnson has been under pressure following his narrow confidence vote victory. PA
Following the biggest democratic mandate in British history, the remain campaigner suggested there could be a second referendum and proposed a Norway plus model that would see the UK tied to the single market and continuing to grant free movement. In other words, Brexit in name only.
So while the mainstream media and the political establishment might want to talk up Jeremy Hunt as the moderate, sensible candidate, I would argue those positions are, in fact, extreme.
We can’t live in constant turmoil.
The Westminster psychodrama over Boris Johnson has to end or this country will be handed over to the nightmare of a Labour/Lib Dem/SNP/Green coalition from hell.
And if the alternative is a Covid authoritarian who wanted to physically remove Brits from their own homes and lock them up in a government facility simply for testing positive for Covid, then it’s absolutely a case of better the devil you know.
