Vladimir Putin has issued a chilling warning to Ukraine in a personal phone call with Donald Trump.
The two leaders spoke down the line on Wednesday, Trump said.
And during the conversation, Putin told his American counterpart that his country "will have to" respond to Ukraine's recent mass drone attack on Russian soil.
"The call lasted approximately one hour and 15 minutes," Trump revealed in a Truth Social post.

"We discussed the attack on Russia's docked airplanes by Ukraine, and also various other attacks that have been taking place by both sides.
"It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate peace," he warned.
The Kremlin, via Russian state news agency Tass, confirmed the call had taken place a few minutes after Trump's post.
Also on the agenda was Iran, with the Commander-in-Chief telling his followers he "stated to President Putin that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon".
