A local BLM group came under fire for posting an image of a paragliding Hamas terrorist

A former Miss Israel winner has accused the Black Lives Matter movement of racism after claiming the group failed to support Jewish people.

Yityish 'Titi' Aynaw, who became the first Ethiopian to win the beauty title in 2013, suggested BLM activists displayed double standards.

The 32-year-old said: “I am so shocked by the response of Black Lives Matter regarding the terror attacks here in Israel.

“I remember you screaming in the streets, ‘I can’t breathe.’ I want to inform you right now … [it’s Israelis] who cannot breathe.”

Aynaw highlighted how almost 200 people are being held hostage by Hamas following October 7’s attack.

“They were kidnapped, raped by the terror organisation Hamas … slaughtering their souls. Hamas is ISIS. Pray for us. Pray for Israel because we can’t breathe,” she added.

Aynaw moved to Israel from Ethiopia as a 12-year-old orphan.

She later became an officer in the IDF and a representative of the Jewish state on the world stage.

Aynaw later told The Post: “These groups — BLM — need to learn their facts.”

The Chicago Black Lives Matter organisation came under fire after seemingly glorifying a paragliding Hamas terrorist.

The post was accompanied with a captions that said: “That is all that is it” and “I stand with Palestine”.

BLM Chicago were forced to issue a grovelling apology, saying: “We sent out [messages] that we aren’t proud of.”

“We stand with Palestine & the people who will do what they must to live free.

“Our hearts are with, the grieving mothers, those rescuing babies from rubble, who are in danger of being wiped out completely.”

Hamas terrorists used paragliders to cross the Gaza border on October 7.

Festivalgoers at Nova were among the 1,300 people killed.

The Metropolitan Police is also launching an appeal after investigating a public order offence when two women were spotted wearing images of paragliders at last Saturday’s pro-Palestine march in London.

Former Labour MP Luciana Berger said there was “no other explanation” for the use of the images other than a display of support for Hamas.
