A man has been arrested in Washington DC after hurling a Subway sandwich at a law enforcement officer and calling them a "fascist".
US Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro announced that the man has been charged in a video posted to social media on Wednesday.
A video of the incident that took place on Sunday evening shows a man in a pink collared shirt screaming at FBI and Border Patrol agents while grasping the sandwich.

The footage went on to show the man throwing the sandwich at one of the officer's chests as he turned to walk away before running off.
The video of the incident has gone viral on social media platforms.
Police have alleged that Sean Charles Dunn, 37, approached law enforcement officers and began loudly swearing and labelling them as "fascists".

Court documents filed on Wednesday say that the 37-year-old has been charged with "assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers and employees of the United States".
Mr Dunn's arrest came one day before President Donald Trump's announcement that his administration would be taking over control of Washington DC's police force and deploying 800 National Guard troops.
The move comes amid Mr Trump describing crime is the US capital city as "out-of-control".
The decision has been heavily criticised by Democrat mayor, Muriel Bowser, who has denied that crime is spiralling in the city and labelled the president's decision as an "authoritarian push".

On Monday, Mr Trump said that it was a necessary step “to rescue our nation’s capital from crime, bloodshed, bedlam and squalor and worse".
On the video posted to social media, Ms Pirro said: “He thought it was funny.
“Well, he doesn’t think it’s funny today because we charged him with a felony: assault on a police officer."
The DC attorney concluded the video saying: “We’re going to back the police to the hilt... So there, stick your Subway sandwich somewhere else."
Since Mr Trump asserted federal control over the DC police force and activated the National Guard, more than 100 people have been arrested.
The administration has said that those arrested include suspects wanted for gun-related crimes, illegal immigration, outstanding warrants and drug charges.
The US president said: “We are going to do something and it's going to serve as a beacon for New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and other places all over the country.
“Our whole country is going to be so different and so great.”
