US President Joe Biden has been slammed by Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin over his efforts to tackle increasing illegal migration in the United States.
This follows the latest figures which show that over two million people crossed the US-Mexico border this year alone.
Since Joe Biden took office, reports suggest more than 6 million people have entered the US-Mexico border unlawfully.
Defending the country's US Border Security, Biden stated: "We can't stop people from making the journey, but we can require them to come here, and that they come here in an orderly way under US law."

The US leader has come under fire by Uvalde's Mayor, for having insufficient resources to tackle the crossings in each state.
Appearing on GB News, McLaughlin told Jacob Rees-Mogg of the struggles US communities are facing.
Jacob asked McLaughlin: "So how many police do you have available to you in Uvalde to try and stop these people?"
McLaughlin revealed: "We have on any given time, we have about fourteen officers on duty and probably four sheriff deputies."
Jacob reacted to the figures, stating: "So that's not a huge amount of police, is it, to try and catch and send these people back? And if you do catch them, do they get sent back?"
McLaughlin revealed: "No. Then we turn them over to the Border Patrol. If we get the Border Patrol to answer because they're so overwhelmed, then we turn them over to them and then they turn them loose, it's really sad what's going on."
Reflecting on the UK's own border problems with illegal migration, Jacob told McLaughlin: "We face exactly these problems in the UK with channel crossings, but a land border is even easier to get across, but also easier to push people back over I would have thought.

Jacob asked: "What do you think underlies this? Why is the problem not being solved at the border? Why aren't people being turned back swiftly?"
McLaughlin fumed: "That's what we can't understand, what this administration is doing. It's costing American taxpayers $451billion a year to support these immigrants that are coming across.
"We don't even give them the ability to get a job or anything. We turn them loose in the country and they're not allowed to work. They're not allowed to do anything.
"And when you cross that river illegally, you've already broken the laws of the United States. It's illegal to cross that river like they're doing it and we do nothing about it."
