It comes mere weeks after the FBI confirmed it would reopen its probe into the bag

Joe Biden's son Hunter has claimed a mystery bag of cocaine found in the White House was not his in a bizarre, sprawling new interview.

Just weeks after the FBI confirmed it would reopen its probe into the bag - found during the Biden presidency - Hunter sat down for a three-hour-long podcast chat.

The ex-President's son, 55, has endured struggles with substance abuse in the past - sparking speculation that the white powder may have been his.

Now, in a new interview with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan, who teased it as his "craziest ever", Hunter has broken his silence.

"I have not touched a drop of alcohol or a drug, and I'm incredibly proud of that,” Hunter said.

"Why would I bring cocaine into the White House and stick it into a cubby outside of the situation room in the West Wing?"

55-year-old Hunter Biden also opened up on his history with drugs during the hours-long grilling

The 55-year-old also opened up on his history with drugs during the hours-long grilling.

"I was drinking so much alcohol... almost a handle of vodka a day," he admitted.

"And alcohol is the most destructive drug, not just to your body, but it puts you in more danger than any other drug that I've ever experienced."

He revealed: "And then you add on top of that the amount of crack that I was using at the time.

"Crack cocaine, in terms of your physical health, is not as dangerous as the situation that you put yourself in to be able to obtain it."

Last year, the former 'First Son' was found guilty of three felony gun charges

Last year, the former "First Son" was found guilty of three felony gun charges after he lied about his substance use in a background check.

His father, in one of his final acts as President, handed Hunter a full pardon in December 2024 - throwing out both his gun conviction and a potential sentence.

The cocaine was found over the July 4 holiday weekend in 2023 - in an area which hundreds of people could have accessed, according to the White House.

But investigators closed their probe after just 10 days over a "lack of evidence".

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino said this May that his agency would be looking into cases with "potential public interest", including the cocaine.

As well as the drugs, Bongino is looking into a series of pipe bombs laid near both the Democratic and Republican party headquarters the night before the January 6 chaos.

His team is also exploring a leaked preview of the US Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade and bring an end to abortion.

"I receive requested briefings on these cases weekly and we are making progress," Bongino said in May - and has urged the American public to send in tips.
