The incident came just weeks after Carnival introduced a host of new policies aimed at addressing poor behaviour among passengers on their cruises.
Among the changes, a new curfew policy was established which prohibits holidaymakers under the age of 17 to be outside of their cabins without a passenger over 21 years old after 1am.
Carnival said: "The safety and security of our guests, team members, the destinations we visit and the waters in which we travel are imbedded in our company's value and guides our operations.
"Cruise ships are a shared space, and all guests are expected to treat others with respect."
